Nissan Leaf Upgrades Range and Capability

Nissan proved its ingenuity when it first came out with the all-electric Nissan Leaf in 2011, the first mass-produced fully electric car in the United States. Since then, many new electric cars have come out, and it is becoming much more common for the average person have access to an electric car.

As a result, Nissan has listened to the requests of electric car fans and is now coming out with an all-new and improved Nissan Leaf to further itself from the competition.

2019 Nissan Leaf Upgrades

The 2019 Nissan Leaf recently debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and it’s been a hit among Nissan fans. Speculated to be one of the best Nissan cars, at least when it comes to electric technology, the 2019 Nissan Leaf features quicker acceleration and a longer range.

The previous 40kWh battery has now been replaced with a powerful 62kWh battery. This changes the hatchback’s range from 150 miles 226 miles. In addition, it produces a maximum 215 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque! This will allow for a quicker acceleration time and heightened efficiency.

This new Nissan car is called the Nissan Leaf e+.

Buying a Nissan Leaf e+

The Nissan Leaf e+ is said to arrive in Nissan dealerships across the US during spring of this year. However, exactly when it will hit our lot here at Universal Nissan in Orlando isn’t known yet.
